A fine patinated bronze sculpture titled “La Glissade” by Antoine Bofill (Spanish, 1875–1939), depicting a young boy sliding playfully on ice. Beautifully cast with exceptional detail and movement, this charming figure perfectly captures Bofill’s characteristic warmth and realism.

The piece is signed in the cast “A. Bofill” and bears the foundry mark of Léon Virlet, reading “L.V. Déposée Bronze Garanti au Titre”, along with the number 1435. The figure stands on its original naturalistic base, finely modelled and titled to the front.
