Description

A George 3rd Walnut and Oak chest on stand and dating from around 1780. This stunning original piece has an Oak top with a moulded cornice. The sides of the chest are Oak whilst the front is walnut and has two short over three long graduating drawers. The drawers are all Oak lined with brass handles and escutcheons. The drawers fronts have a cross banded edge. The stand is also all walnut and has a moulded top. It stands on cabriole legs with a shell carved to the shoulder and a pad foot with a shaped frieze in between the legs to the front. The top lifts off the base for ease of movement.

Measures: Height: 49.5" x Depth: 22" x Width: 42"
