Description

A very fine solid silver Victorian christening mug. The body of the mug is beautifully decorated with panels featuring flowers and foliage with beading in between. It has a simple handle with elegant details where it joins the mug. The central panel has a floral border with an oval empty cartouche. Very clear hallmarks are visible on the base for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1876 and the makers mark for Thomas Bradbury & Sons

A superb christening mug that would be lovely present for a new baby.

Condition: This mug is in great antique condition with some scratching and a minor indentation to the base mentioned for accuracy.
