Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina and wonderful grain. It stands on a plinth base and has two short over two long drawers. The drawers open well and it is a clean sturdy set with all the original turned knobs.

It is in good condition for its age. There are the usual small signs of wear and a few marks and some small chips around the edge but nothing detrimental and it displays very well. Internally the drawers are generally clean and tidy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
