Mint Heavy Solid 9ct Gold Explorer Dial Omega Seamaster Automatic C1966

1940 - 1960
Description

This is a fabulous example of a vintage mens watch made by the premium Swiss make Omega.

This is the heavy solid 9ct gold Seamaster with the rare original unrestored explorer dial from 1966 with the twenty four jewel calibre 552 movement one of Omegas most reliable automatics.

The original and untouched dial is in mint condition, it has never been restored, it is finished with solid gold faceted baguette hour markers with solid gold numerals at 3 6 9 and 12 A very rare Explorer dial which really does make this watch stand out.

The Omega symbol is on the crown and it is fully marked Omega on the dial, movement and case as you would expect.

The heavy 9ct gold case has been ultrasonically cleaned and lightly hand polished so it is absolutely pristine with sharp edges. The case was made for Omega by the British company Dennisons who made most of the solid 9ct gold cases used by Omega. Dennison cases tend to be around 25% heavier than the standard Omega watch cases.

The watch case measures 34.5mm in diameter not including the crown.

Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.

We can fit any colour or style of strap we keep most things in stock.

Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and rare Seamaster highly sought after by Omega collectors.

The watch has been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally serviced and comes with a one year warranty.

We offer a highly personalised and bespoke service.

In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
