A pair of early 19th century, circa 1810s classical Greek sculpture engravings by the distinguished French Master Engravers of the period Henri Guillaume Chatillon 1780-1856 and Pierre Buillon 1776-1831.
A fine pair of classical Greek sculpture engravings by 2 French master engravers, 1 being an extract from Pierre Buillon’s Musée des Antiques published in Paris 1811-1827, a study of classical works at the Louvre in Paris, the other by Henri Guillaume Chatillon who’s exceptional classical engravings are displayed amongst the world’s leading museums and galleries.
Both professionally framed and mounted during the mid 20th century to a very fine standard, dimensions as follows.
Height 66cm and 59cm
Width 49cm and 46cm
