Description

Very smart French Louis XV style serpentine front side cabinet by the celebrated cabinet makers Krieger of Paris c.1910. Original 1¼" thick and highly figured marble top with deep moulded and serpentine shaped edges at the front and sides. Over a cabinet of conforming shape with two drawers over a two door cupboard fitted with a single adjustable shelf inside (minium internal depth 14"). Superb patterned parquetry work exterior in mahogany and rosewood veneers. Decorative brass escutcheon plates and pierced mounts at the front corners of the cabinet. Shaped apron and legs with further brass mounts to the feet front and rear. Of superior quality with oak linings to the drawers and cupboards and oak back panels. Maker's badge for Krieger Paris inside one of the drawers and also stamped on the rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
