Description

Antique Waltham Sterling pocket watch, 1878.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, with gold balance, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 1,138,006 which dates it back to 1878. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and it is in lovely condition with just the odd small mark, nothing serious at all.

The watch glass has a few small marks, all very acceptable.

The dial has lever set blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
