Antique Military Campaign Chest

19th century
Description

A lovely military campaign chest dating from the late 19th century. It is made from teak and stands on small square feet. It has typical recessed brass handles and brass strapping. A great size for a coffee table or a TV stand.

It is in good condition with a nice aged patina. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and open smoothly and the back is good and solid. They have been well travelled and as such have some signs of age and use, some surface marks, light knocks and a few small chips and splits but no major damages and they are strong and sturdy. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
