1930s Selezi Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1920s Selezi full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Revue stem-winding movement which would have been bought in by Dimier Frères & Cie, to be subsequently sold under the brand name Selezi, registered by Dimier Frères in 1912. The movement is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with screw-set jewels, Breguet hairspring and snail cam regulator. It is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, with the inside and outside having layers of 10 carat gold, originally guaranteed to wear for 20 years. The case is in lovely condition, just general very light surface marking, nothing serious at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
