The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed J DuBois Bandelier.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nielloware with rose gold embellishments. Niello is a black mixture, usually of sulphur, copper, silver, and lead, used as an inlay on engraved or etched metal, often silver. It is added as a powder or paste, then fired until it melts or at least softens, and flows or is pushed into the engraved lines in the metal. The case is in good condition, just small amounts of niello missing around the edge, nothing serious at all.

The glass lens is in good condition, just one small chip underneath the lens and barely noticeable to the naked eye.
The black dial is signed J DuBois Bandelier. Pin-set hands. There are a couple of chips to the centre but otherwise it is in good condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
