Sideboard Credenza Victorian Walnut and Marble

Here we have a fine Victorian Walnut and marble credenza. This piece has come to me in part exchange. The condition is acceptable and not in my usual perfect retail condition. I have simply had this item polished and it looks the part. There is a little amount of work to bring this upto standard. As you can it has good colour, form and size. The marble is crisp, nicely shaped and free from damage. Above all it is very decorative with the carved applied mouding to the top and front. The locks are missing and the are a couple of areas of shrinkage in the veneer and some small bits of veneer missing and slight warping. The original casters are underneath. If you are looking for a piece and are not too worried about it being perfect then this is very cost effective. The piece actually looks great but i am picky. As you will see from my feedback Cloverleaf home interiors prides it self on selling pieces in excellent retail condition which this is not quite there. A classic piece of decorative Victoriana at a great price.
