Attractive Japanese Meiji (early 20thC) brown/black patinated bronze of Jurojin, the Japanese god of longevity, immortality & wisdom (one of the Seven Gods of Fortune), depicted seated with a scroll in his left hand and holding a pen in his right hand. Signed in an impressed seal on the back. 24cm high x 19cm wide x 12.5cm deep, weight 3.7kg.
Superb original condition. There is no box, which fell to pieces in transit (as often happens!), but I have shown a photo of the signature on the box.
