Depicting a Castle Turret and Fortress on the shoreline, with fishing vessels on the sandy beach head front with figures.
A stone bridge extends over a water tributary in the right hand corner.
It’s a stormy looking skyline possibly depicting early morning at dawn as they prepare and load their nets ready to go to sea.

Painted canvas has had past light clean and refurbishment, all good and original find.
Frame has had a few minor repairs, no losses visible as these have recently been restored since images taken.
All original / Never been relined and with no repair patches.

Fair Order for age after almost 200 years, having wear and tear with old repairs throughout but not too noticeable.and still a respectable looking frame well worth retaining as original.
