Regency Original Painted Pine Antique Chest of Drawers
 
This is a beautiful, English early 19th century antique chest of drawers still in its original wonderful paint work with painted decorations to the chest top, drawer fronts and sides. In excellent condition, a taller model having two short drawers over three long and graduating drawers. They all run smoothly and have the original ebonised turned wooden handles. Stands well on swept bracket feet. A lovely extra is that to two of the chest drawers are old paper labels adhered to the sides which are clothing inventories that include, Boating Trousers and College Cap! A lovely glimpse of past social history. This is a superb Regency original painted pine antique chest of drawers that dates to around 1815.
