Circa 1860 Magnificent carved oak Flemish hall stand of very large proportions. Surmounted by an elaborate pediment with carved, figures, figureheads and heraldic shields, the upper part with hat hooks with carved figureheads & brass hooks, a central large bevel mirror flanked by exquisitely carved panels with figures. The demilune base with spindled arched stick stands with original drip trays flanking a central shelf with a large glove drawer supported on 2 carved continental figures. The base with a carved foredge & neat bun feet.
