Description

This early 18th Century Queen Anne Walnut Chest On Stand features matched walnut veneer and a fruitwood cross banding.

The chest is raised on a beautifully shaped original cabriole-legged stand.

A provincial piece of early 18th Century cabinet making, it has panelled oak ends and stand with pine drawer linings and a superb colour throughout. It also has a fantastic set of period engraved handles, which, although not original to the piece, have clearly been on for a long time and are of the correct style.
