A 1951 Omega Seamaster automatic wristwatch. A silvered dial with two-tone finish, each reflecting at different angles. Applied gilt arrow markers, backed by lume dots in the recess. The quarters are indicated by Arabic numerals with a gilt reflective print, fronted by cushion accents. An inner printed minute track. The Omega logo is applied below 12 o''clock above the model script. This dial layout is one of the rarer variants of these models.
An oversized stainless steel case, often described as the ''beefy lug'' variant. The central case body is one piece, with a flat bezel and step down lugs. A screw down case back. Case reference C 2557-3.
A 17 jewel ''bumper'' automatic mechanism, caliber 351 by Omega. Serial numbers date this watch to 1952.
