This Buffet table is ideal for any period dining room and would look great beside a serving hatch, the table is also ideal to be used as a sideboard/side table.
The table has 3 large shelves, which are great for serving or displaying ornaments and 2 large quality dovetail constructed drawers complete with polished brass plate dropper handles and reeded fronts. This stunning table also features the most beautifully carved, pitched rear up-stand depicting Oak foliage and acorns, complete with a centre rosetta and flanked by smaller rosettas either side.
The table has 3 solid walnut shelf surfaces, each with nicely moulded edges complete with Edwardian style turned forelegs to straight back legs which all stand on its original polished brass castors on brown porcelain wheels. The table features its original French polished finish with the most beautiful original lightly faded Walnut colour and original patina. The table has obviously been really cared for all of its life and looks exceptional for it.
We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining all of the original patina and age by just carefully cleaning and waxing this item to preserve and protect the item whilst giving it a lustrous natural sheen.
Please note this item is in superb condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, however, we feel that adds to the charm and heritage of the item with it being antique.
