Early C19th George IV period figured mahogany chiffonier of unusually small scale and proportions.
Raised on turned feet, the square panelled two-drawer cupboard base below a convex moulded frieze drawer with leaf -carved detail to the ends, the sides with fluted flat column uprights with stylised capitals . The upstand panelled back fitted a shelf with carved detail ends , supported by leaf-carved S-scroll brackets .
The panelled doors with ‘split-reel’ moulding surrounds, fitted a lock and working key , enclosing a shelved interior.
Carved detail throughout, the well-selected flame-veneer mahogany with a rich colour and patina.
In excellent original condition and being of exceptionally small scale and proportions.
