A charming oil on oak panel depicting a lady out gathering lavender and other flowers. The painting shows the influence of artists like Gainsborough and it is possible it is a period copy of a famous work. The work is not signed and again this would be normal for a copyist. The painting is in good condition it has been professionally cleaned and had some very minor touching in to the sky.
