Marble Top Side Cabinet C.1860

19th century
Description

Mid 19th.c. mahogany and marble top side cabinet or chiffonier c.1860. Original white marble top with projecting front corners and moulded edges. Over a two door cupboard fitted inside with a single shelf (internal depth 14"). Original mirror glass arched door panels with raised mouldings and crisp carved detail at the apex. Flanked with canted pilasters with carved corbels top and bottom. Raised on a moulded and crossbanded plinth shaped to match the top. Minor tarnish to the mirror plates otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
