Description

An 18th century Welsh oak enclosed dresser base. The top with moulded edge above three shallow drawers with brass handles, centre raised shaped panel with plain one below flanked by cupboard doors each with four raised panels. There is a shelf inside each cupboard and the dresser stands on shaped bracket feet. Good colour and patina, the back and bottom boards have been replaced (very well) in Victorian times and there is old knotted damage , which actually lends character, at the back left board (see photo). A good model of dresser from Merionethshire. Welsh Circa 1760.
