Antique George Lll Mahogany Chest of Drawers

An impressive antique George III mahogany chest of drawers. The chest of drawers has an arrangement of three over three long cock beaded and graduating drawers. Each of the drawers, with the exception of the top middle, have decorative brass drop handles. The drawers have working locks and come with key. Raised on bracket feet.

Height – 98cm / Width - 115cm / Depth - 54.5cm

CONDITION REPORT:

n good antique condition throughout, with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places, including age-related marks and scratches on the top (pictured) and throughout. There is some splitting on the sides (pictured); however, the mahogany chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound. The brass drawer handles are later additions but are quite handsome and perfectly in keeping with the piece. This is a lovely example of an antique George III mahogany chest of drawers.
