Description

Gents 1960s Smiths Astral wrist watch.

The watch has a Smiths 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is general light marking to the case, not too detrimental. The case back has marks across it, possibly from where an earlier strap has been. The watch is marked as being waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish… there is a little marking but acceptable for a vintage piece.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
