Victorian inlaid walnut credenza

Here is your opportunity to purchase this wonderful Victorian inlaid walnut credenza that was made circa 1870 in one of the best London workshops of the period.

Queen Victoria’s home Osbourne House in the Isle of Wight has items of this type and when this was first made it was the height of fashion for the super wealthy of the day.

It is a 4-door version, usually you only have one central door, but this has the very desirable double central cupboard.

The central panel doors with the stunning central design in boxwood and double box stringing around the door frames. Each side of the doors are panels with attractive inlay that have turned walnut columns to each side

To each end are the bow glass display cabinets that are lined in material and with fitted shelves.

The doors to the centre open to reveal the material lined interior where you have a large storage area.

This Victorian credenza stands on ebonised bun feet, with matching ebonised moulding to the base and top edges.

This is the best that you will find on the internet for sale, restored by one of the best if not the best restorer of Victorian walnut furniture working. He takes great pride and time restoring items back to their finest.

Imagine how this superb credenza will look in your home and the richness of colour and quality it will give you. You are bound to get many compliments of your choice by family and friends.
