Victorian Mahogany Tall Straight Front Chest of Drawers C1860 (Tallboy)

A Victorian period, mahogany tall chest of drawers, Circa 1860. This chest of drawers, with rectangular shaped top with thumb moulded edge. Bank of well figured mahogany cock-beaded edged drawers, with turned double handles, turned wooden escutcheons and locks. Drawers configured with two small side-by-side drawers, over four full width drawers, all graduated in height. Moulded base and raised on mahogany bracket feet. Pine top, sides and drawer linings.

A well presented chest of drawers, in good working condition, serviced, cleaned and waxed, now very much ready for use.

Dimensions:

This chest measures approximately 152.5 cm (60") tall, 106.5 cm (42") wide, and 49.5 cm (19.5") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chest of drawers is in an overall good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Some odd marks and blemishes. Few spots of paint on the top. Original handles, locks, and escutcheons. All drawers run well. No loose joints. Lovely aged patina to the drawers, and lovely warm colour. Fully serviced, cleaned, and wax polished, now ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.

A 30-day return period is offered for peace of mind. Items must be returned in the same condition as supplied. Return transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer, and original delivery charges are non-refundable. Responsibility for the item remains with the buyer until it has been safely received back.
