Beautifully crafted serpentine fronted mahogany sideboard stamped by J Hicks of 5 Lr Pembroke st. He is descibed by Knight of Glin, James Peill in his book ''Irish Furniture '' as being ''the last of the grand Irish cabinet makers''. Made at the turn of the 20th C it is extensively inlaid with satinwood and all oak lined with brass ring handles. In very good , untouched, original condition
