The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in lovely condition and has nice crisp engine turned detail to the back.

The watch glass is in good condition, just a small 2mm nibble on the bevelled edge.
The dial is in very nice condition with blued steel hands.
The watch comes in an antique presentation box from a London jeweller. The box is tatty but still nice to have.

NB: Where we have specified a year of manufacture, this is based on hallmarks or serial numbers with published databases. The 'date of manufacture' given by SellingAntiques will vary slightly as the website only works to decades, not specific years.
