A large Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

The chest has two short drawers at the top and three graduated long drawers beneath

The drawers run very smoothly they have brass oval plate handles although I think that these are not original, the chest would probably have had wooden bun handles.

This is a big chest of drawers and it stands on bracket feet it has a solid mahogany top with a very attractive moulded edge

The chest of good solid construction it has no creaks, splits or woodworm and the drawers run well, and it is in good condition with age related marks

The chest measures 37" high 43" wide and 21" deep
