Description

Antique silver wrist watch, 1924.

The watch has a Swiss Fontainemelon 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Edinburgh 1924. The case has a small indentation to the bezel, and unevenness to the hinged case back.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The dial has several hairlines, mainly on the subsidiary seconds dial, but they are faint. One of the hands is a period replacement.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
