Gents Omega Seamaster wrist watch, 1956.

The watch has a calibre 501 20-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 15,832,615 dates it back to 1956. The501 was the first full rotor driven movement and is considered to be one of Omegas best ever.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is Denisteel stainless steel and it is in good condition with just a little light marking and a little gentle unevenness to the back, nothing too serious at all.

The inside of the case back has the Omega logo.

The lens is in good condition.

The silver two tone dial has light freckling. Original dauphine shaped hands and centre seconds hand.

The watch comes on a beads of rice bracelet stamped on the clasp with the raised Omega logo, and also inside the clasp with the name and logo. Some general light surface marking to the clasp. The watch currently fits an 18cm wrist although there are extra links to make it approximately 1cm bigger.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
