The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover which has a little scratching where it has been opened in the past.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. It is in lovely condition with just the odd small mark, nothing serious at all. The back of the watch has the ornate initials of a previous owner.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial is in lovely condition. One of the hands is a period replacement so a slightly different shade of gold, and the hour hand is very slightly out of shape if you look very closely.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
