This lovely commode is of unusually small size for a piece of this sort.
Having two drawers with geometric strung borders and the pilasters are inlaid with neoclassical harebells. The apron has additional inlaid floral detailing with nicely executed shading giving additional depth to the image and framed with further bands of stringing. There is also inlaid mock fluting to the tops of the legs which are square tapering and inlaid. The sides of the commode are panelled and also inlaid with additional harebells and strung details.
The commode has a lovely surface and colour.
