Spectacular Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers
This Spectacular Late 18th Century Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers dates from ca. 1790 and has striking inlay details. This fine quality large antique chest has a beautifully figured top with moulded edge above an inlaid freize and two over three graduating Oak lined cock-beaded drawers, with decorative Brass swan neck handles. This stunning antique chest of drawers stands on shaped bracket feet and is very unusual with quarter column sides. The Mahogany has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of bees wax finishing.
