Description

Antique silver Omega pocket watch, 1912.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 4,602,918 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is also signed with the Omega name, and it has details of medals won at the 1900 Paris exhibition.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Continental marks inside both of the case backs. The case is in good condition, nice engine turned detail with a central vacant cartouche to the back.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial looks good to the naked eye, if viewed closely there is a faint hairline between 4 and 7. The hands appear to be the originals although most of the gold finish has worn off the minute hand.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
