Each drawer has a small turned knob, the cupboard has brass tram-line decoration and comes with its original working key.
It is an unusual design and is likely to have been scratch built for a specific use incorporating elements of other pieces.
The whole piece is in good condition and although it has been used it has been well looked after over the years. The wood has developed a lovely rich patina and the interior is generally clean and tidy with a few old stains and marks. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside, some minor stains and general signs of age but nothing detrimental or untoward. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
