Description

Silver Tissot pocket watch, 1947.

The watch has a fully signed 15-jewel stem-winding movement, calibre 43, which is working nicely. The serial number 1811724 dates it back to 1947. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is .800 silver with rose gold wash detailing, a style known as galonne, which was very popular in the Scandinavian countries in the early 1900s. The case has some rubbing to the rose gold wash but overall it is in nice condition. The inside of the case back has the Tissot name.

The acrylic lens has light surface marking but is very acceptable.

The white dial is signed Tissot, it is in lovely condition. Original Breguet style hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
