A George II mahogany and walnut bachelors chest of desirable proportions.
The book veneer drawer fronts are, we believe, walnut and the drawer lining are of oak. The decorative swing handles and escutcheons appear to be original. (a couple of the internal fixing nuts have been lost) The brushing slide and drawers run freely.
Condition: A good well constructed 18th century small chest of drawer’s with historic repairs, marks, scratches, imperfections with wear consistent with the age and use of this piece.
