Regency Mahogany Chest of Drawers with Ebony Stringing and Provenance

Description

Superb quality chest of drawers in original condition with solid brass cast handles and splayed feet to the front dating from around 1820. The chest of drawers is from Dutton Manor in Lancashire The drawers are oak lined and run well The original key locks the top two drawers The chest is in lovely untouched condition and we have been waxing it to bring back the subtle sheen of the wood (it predates French polish) No cracks or worm and the odd old repair to the lower feet
