Description

An attractive antique 19th century Welsh oak pot board dresser. The antique oak dresser has a boarded rack back top, with three fitted shelves, retaining its original blacksmith iron hanging hooks. The Welsh oak dresser has a pot board base with three cock beaded drawers, each with brass drop handles. The antique dresser has an under tier shelf raised on turned baluster supports and stile feet. Separates into two parts for ease of transport.

Height – 211.5cm / Width - 157cm / Depth - 42.5cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and stains to the surface top, shelves and sides. There is further staining (pictured) to the surface top and some missing hooks to the middle shelf. To the back, plywood has been added but this can be removed, giving the oak dresser open rack shelves. Overall, the antique 19th century oak dresser remains structurally solid and sound. A wonderful example.
