18th Century Chinese Painting on Silk - Qianlong Period (1735 - 1796)

18th century
Description

Here is a superb Chinese fan design painted on silk dating from the Qianlong period (Emperor Qianlong 1735 - 1796), in excellent condition, with a red seal mark and script to the left hand side.

Depicting the deity of longevity up in the clouds with lively boys and ribbons, the inscription reads -

Blessings

That You can actually see

Emperor Qianlong

Spring

Created as a design for a fan, it is such a joyful painting, wonderfully executed and has remained bright and vibrant.

The painting measures 43cm by 22cm and comes presented in a later vintage frame.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if I can provide any further information or photographs.

I offer free delivery throughout mainland UK, and am very happy to help with quotes for shipping abroad.
