Antique Waltham Royal pocket watch, 1901.

The watch has a 17-jewel stem winding movement, Royal grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 10509718 which dates it back to 1901. This is a high grade movement with screw set jewels in gold settings, Breguet hairspring and patent regulator. The movement is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem so slightly smaller than a standard 50mm pocket watch. The case is gold filled and overall the condition is good, just a little unevenness to the back.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition. Elegant slender hands in a blued steel finish, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer red numerals.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
