Description

Late 19th.c. burr walnut and ormolu credenza side cabinet c.1880. Curved glass door display cabinets with two shelves either side of a blind centre cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside (internal depth 11"). Symmetrically arranged walnut veneers with fine inlaid detail and large original gilded ormolu mounts and mouldings. With a large Sèvres porcelain cameo at the centre of the middle door, featuring an 18th.c. scene of a courting couple, set within a ormolu laurel leaf border with ribbon and flower garlands above and below. Plus four smaller porcelain cameos to the pilasters either side of the doors. Original lining fabric to the interior. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
