Gents Seiko Sportsmatic automatic wristwatch, 1965.

The watch has a fully automatic 17-jewel movement which is working nicely (you can sometimes hear the rotor moving around). The movement is signed Seiko Sportsmatic and it is the calibre 2451 which was in production from 1961 until 1970. The reference numbers on this particular watch date it back to 1965.

The watch is a good wearable size at 36.5mm diameter excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated and the front is in lovely condition. There is some wear to the plate on the back of the watch but you have to look quite carefully to see it.

The lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds hand.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
