Antique Electa Dreadnought pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss high grade 17-jewel stem-winding movement stamped Dreadnought with Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision, screw-set jewels and micro regulator, which is working nicely. The movement has been identified as Electa and has various Patents under the dial. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has light surface marking.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Company. Dennisons was an English case maker and supplier to various watch makers. The case has light wear to the edge of the back although hardly noticeable and general light surface marks but nothing too detrimental.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The dial has been left blank for the original retailer to add their details if required. It is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
