The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a 17 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has nicely decorated plates, a Church 1892 patent regulator and a Breguet hairspring. The movement carries the serial number 5912813 which dates it back to around 1894.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The patterned case is gold filled, it is lovely condition. The inside of the case back is signed with the name of a previous owner.

The acrylic lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial is in good condition, just one short faint scratch but not too detrimental at all.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
