It was listed by Oliver Sargent Antiques. Sold pieces stay on Sellingantiques as a record of what has passed through, and the next one is rarely far away.
Oliver Sargent Antiques has dated this piece to the 1940s.
Uncommonly preserved, it's a rarity to find examples that have retained all their original case components. The offered timepiece still showcases a significant portion of its original case plate, complemented by an excellent original dial and deep blued handset. The fully signed Omega ref 2292 case and movement firmly date this piece to 1943. With a diameter of 33.5mm (excluding the crown) and a lug end to lug end measurement of 40mm, it wears exceptionally well on the wrist due to its thin bezel. Priced at £2495.00, which includes shipping within the UK, this is a fabulous example of historical significance.
