The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a calibre 12.68N 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has a stainless steel bezel and case back, and an alloy centre, a combination often seen in the 1940s. The case is in good condition for its age, some surface marking to the centre section and a couple of marks, or remnants of engraving, to the back. The inside of the case back is signed with the Longines name.

Replacement but period winding crown.
The lens is in good condition.
The dial has been professionally re-finished at some stage. The hands appear to be the originals, certainly of the correct design… original infill has been removed at some stage.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
