Description

Smiths De Luxe wrist watch, made in England.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs, it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, minor marking but nothing too serious.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial and hour and minute hands are later period replacements, they date from the 1950s so a watch repairer was probably commissioned to upgrade and modernise the watch to make it look more contemporary, moving away from its earlier military appearance.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
